wisdom from our diminutive green master...
Death is a natural part of life. Rejoice for those around you who transform into the force. Mourn them do not. Miss them do not. Attachment leads to jealousy...the shadow of greed that is. Train yourself to let go of everything you fear to lose.
My illustrious Sir Rivers, by your tone I will assume you are joking but if you are not, I shall endeavour to disagree with you. Anakin was weak. It was precisely because he was unable to let go, and because he carried fear in his heart that he fell from grace. That being said, I wonder if I really want to be a jedi now...I like thetragedy so... :I
Let's not forget that the galaxy created Darth Vader. Darth Vader wasn't some monster who just magically popped out of no where. They had a part to play in his creation.
Perhaps Darth Vader was Lucas' trickster then, part of a cautionary tale...that's it. Vader was just a really disturbed (albeit not entirely evil), and mean (not without reason), Raven.

yoda sounds suspiciously like a Buddhist.
Buddy, detachment is what brought the downfall of the Jedi.

My sister read this dialogue and said, "Ahhhhh, you two go places I'll never understand."
